Understanding the Abuse Report Process

Stages of the Abuse Report Process

  1. Initial Contact with the Domain Owner: Before reporting the abuse to GuardPrivacy, contact the domain owner to address the issue directly. Use GuardPrivacy’s Helpdesk to submit a contact request.

  2. Submitting a Formal Abuse Report: If the owner is unresponsive or does not rectify the problem, you can submit a detailed abuse report to GuardPrivacy.

  3. GuardPrivacy’s Investigation and Action: GuardPrivacy reviews the report, contacts the domain owner if necessary, and determines the appropriate actions, such as warnings or suspensions.

  4. Resolution and Communication: The resolution will be communicated to both the reporter and the domain owner, detailing the steps taken to resolve the issue.
